Research has shown that athletes who train with personalized zones, based on lactate and VO2 testing, train more effectively than those using age- or activity-based formulas for training zones.  To reach your maximum potential and achieve peak fitness, our Club collaborates with specialists in the fields of ergophysiology. You'll be tested by professors of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (Dept of Physical Education).

Oxygen uptake (VO2) during exercise is a reliable indicator of aerobic capacity and cardio-respiratory fitness.  Maximum Oxygen Uptake (VO2 max.) is often used to measure and compare aerobic endurance fitness, to assess your current fitness level and monitor improvements as you train.  We also use the test data to set your personal heart rate zones for training, so you train more efficiently.
